From a distance it might appear as if the mainstream media is hypersensitive to racial disparities in our society. An uniformed observer would probably see the plethora of shows and movies about racism and racial discrimination on the television every day and assume that the mainstream media is a great champion of racial equality in America. That is, of course, until one understands the power structure of the American media and the true nature of racism in the United States. Non-gentile Americans, who represent only 2% of the population, own or control 90% of the mainstream media outlets. This would not necessarily be a problem if it weren’t for the fact that they are arguably the worst perpetrators of racism in the US and are responsible for much of the race-based economic inequality in America.

In an LA Times article titled How Jewish Is Hollywood?, a non-gentile columnist named Joel Stein called gentiles dumb for not believing “Jews totally run Hollywood,” and then proceeded to list the names of all the non-gentile executives to prove that they do. Stein wrote, “The Jews are so dominant, I had to scour the trades to come up with six Gentiles in high positions at entertainment companies. When I called them to talk about their incredible advancement, five of them refused to talk to me, apparently out of fear of insulting Jews. The sixth, AMC President Charlie Collier, turned out to be Jewish.” Stein concludes his piece with the following sentence: “But I don’t care if Americans think we’re running the news media, Hollywood, Wall Street or the government. I just care that we get to keep running them.”
