Evanescence. Because their lyrics are something that people can relate to in different ways and their music is very expressive and different. I just love to listen to it.

For me, The Smashing Pumpkins, they have a fond place in my heart. I listen to alot of things; that includes progressive, grunge, stoner, post-punk, shoegaze: All which gets you the Pumpkins. When you add Black Sabbath plus Cheap Trick ... you get Pumpkins. When you Smash Pumpkins in front of Billy Corgan's door ... you get Mashing Pumpkins.

Nostalgia is a heavy thing. Somehow, the Pumpkins's music reminds me of a time long ago when kids were set free. Lots of people weren't happy until Black Sabbath came along. Then a bad cycle continued on, 80's music made some kids not so happy, then the time of grunge came along and kids were happy again. Pumpkins were one of the most important bands out of that time, and for me, my personal favorite.

I have quite a few of those, but the top one at the moment is Deathstars....I still can't remember what possessed me to listen to their song Cyanide for the first time, but ever since I've been utterly hooked!!
