My Mom although she caused positive changes in me as an adult she was more of an inspiration to get me to be as much unlike her as possible when I raised my kids. I use her mothering as a blueprint on what I shouldn't do as a mother. So technically she did inspire me to be a better mom although she wasn't an insiration in my life.
...and still will always be my dad <3 he does so much for people and is still being threatened to death and other stuff >.< and still continues standing up for what he believes in :') <3 I love u dad <33333333333333 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
My relatives, some of my friends and enemies, books that I read and music that I listen. Everything ig complex.
I think, anything of all that you see can influence you. For example, somebody said something in a certain situation, so you know about people a bit more and you gonna act with people like this in a different way.
Jeez, I'm not sure. My sister and I fed off each other in influencing each other, so I am not sure if she counts. Possibly my maternal grandmother. I'd really like to be her when I get older (I'd say grow up, but she never did, and hopefully I won't either!)
My friends. My closest cousin helped me to see reason and to accept that my dogmatic beliefs were misguided. My best friend helped me to understand that morality is about how you treat others regardless or who or what they are (rather than some black and white God-given principles). Later, another friend helped me to understand the value of science, non-fiction literature, and logic to supplement (and sometimes replace) my convictions with objective facts. Without these three individuals, I would likely be a very bigoted, religious, and irrational person.
It was my foster parents they raise me like their own and really didn't have too, kept me out of jail or maybe even worse. I think god ever day for them and I really believe they are still looking out for me.
It was my dad, he had a strong work ethic, and taught us that nothing in life is free or worth anything without you working for it. What ever you do in life do it well, if your a ditch digger dig the best ditch there is, have pride in whatever you do and do it honestly.
My Mother...My father left us when I was 8 and never saw him again.
My Mother gave all four of us kids a roof over our head, food on the table and clothes on our backs, not to mention her Love and Values...Not easy for a woman during the period when women stayed home...
Your mother had to have been so very special. It had to be so hard to raise 4 kids on her own. I am sorry your dad left when you were just 8 yrs old. :(
She did alright by us considering the times we were raised.... As for my Father...they divorced and he took off and never contributed to anything and did not mean a thing after that....No Problem...
Plenty of people influenced me in the wrong way, but I never gave in to that. As different as it will sound, I'm going to say God because I am fortunate enough to have had felt His influence in this life and that's what saved me.
