I worked years ago at a small policestation in a village nearby!
I wasn't a police-officer, I was a receptionist/typist there.
One day my motorcycle broke and the "opperwachtmeester" (the head police-officer of that station) did drive me home in a police car, the motorcycle included.
I have... My Dad was thirty years on the force and cheekily drove my and sister a few hundred yards down the hill to home when we were young children (it was dark and late).
For beating my ex brother in law unconscious with a lead pipe.He kicked his pregnant wife(my sister)in the stomach causing a miscarriage.Charges were dropped!
I use to work for CSI (Child Study Institute) and the police officers were in and out frequently. As a result of this, I had the opportunity to ride in a police car. The last time I rode in a police car was when Senator Obama came to our city, a friend dated a cop, and he escorted us to the rally which was held at the University, we had entrance privilege and choice seating with city dignitarys and our Congresswoman, this was an awesome day, one that I'l never forget, and especially the police ride, the back seat of a police car is not comfy.
