Actually don't mind either, until recently both were routinely giving me injections (Novocaine & T-strone) but not for at least a year now.

SomehowI cannot get over the fact that it's going to hurt at some point during the visit. Either the shot before drilling, or clipping my gums during cleaning....something is going to hurt, it's just a mantter of time...tick, tock,tick tock.....and I get more and more nervous.....tick, tock....
I hate going to the dentist. And it's nothing personal against my dentist, he's a really nice person. I just can't stand having my teeth/mouth messed with.
Good question. At least you know the doctor is only gonna be dealing with your MOUTH. A doctor can probe you ANYWHERE !!! If your dentist is sticking his mirror in places other than your mouth, you need to see a new dentist !!!
I wouldn't say I dread seeing my dentist because I've been very lucky in the past
few years and I haven't needed much work on my teeth. I take care of my teeth and
I see my dentist every six months. I love to have my teeth cleaned. The only thing I
dread is the drilling part but who doesn't ? I close my eyes and I dream about being
in Maui. It calms me everytime.
