Mermaid would be my ideal, but my body shape would look better in a Ballerina type where it really goes in at the waist and hides my hips.

LOL-I don't think being into design magically gives one a great figure. However, turning a grocery bag into a wedding gown sounds like something I would do.

Actually I remember years ago reading an article about paper wedding dresses. They didn't look like paper. But they were biodegradable. I would totally go for that, but I think most brides are sentimental and imagine they will keep their gowns. I held onto mine long enough to know I wasn't going to have a daughter who might want it some day. Then I gave it to charity.

I'm probably not going to keep mine-I dread the amount of room it is going to take up in my closet!!!!! But probably won't just give it away.

You have to put it in a different closet-lol. You can also have them specially cleaned and boxed up for storage.

Thank you! I got to try it-after first round of alterations last week. Very nice, but the bodice is a bit "droopy" still.
