When my nieces and nephews were younger, they all needed sneakers, my sister has 5 kids. No way could she afford a named brand, so she got what she could afford at the time, the bill was still quite high. But as far as I know they never got bullied about it thank god. One of my nephews got bullied for being brainy, he switched schools.
Use to like converse many many years ago, but, i'd have to go with ones that are not made in sweatshops, which eliminates both converse, nike and most of the tennis shoes made out there.
Most are made in sweatshops by child labor and slave labor and/or in countries that just plain have unfair labor practices.
Indonesia, China, and Vietnam are where converse and nikes are made and most other brands that are not made by green manufactures are made there and many other countries that use sweatshops, some of the countries america owns too but lets this atrocities continue, because of greed and our shallowness
