If I'm in my Jeep, I don't care. However, if I'm riding my motorcycle it's not fun for the road to go from pavement to gravel like I've known some back roads to do. That just sucks beyond belief.

The road less travelled. I haven't owned a car in 13 years. The United States is one big tourist trap. We travel because we can't stand the places we live because they're overrun with traffic. Soon, driving an automobile will be a thing of the past, more an occassional luxury than a necessity. American motorists are clueless.

I like to take my Trans Am out on the country roads and cut loose. No cops on the country roads either!
You learn all sorts of short cuts to different places too. They are usually faster than taking the main roads.

America is one of the most beautiful countries in the World. I often wonder why people travel abroad. My dream is to take my RV, use it's generator to produce hydrogen through now existing technology and never return. Until the planet runs out of water or I die. Great Dream and not really beyond the realm of possibility.

i really love the mainroads cause theres alot of pretty house, backroads cause theres always an amazing country side -plus you never know who or what you'll run into, and highways are fun cause if i'm in a rush then i wanna get to where i'm going fast.

I don't drive yet but my friends do, I love the backroad because it's fun. I just like the highway for no reason. the main road is just fun to look around.

Back road on my motorcycle..
Highway for long distances...
and mainroad usually to center of town, easier and faster sometimes...
But on my motorcycle riding next to or behind my husband on a beautiful day, is just the best!!!! Simply marvelous. : )

If time is not an issue, I love driving through different little towns and looking around a bit. Unfortunately, time is a factor much too often. Backroad is definitely more interesting and mellow.

I like main roads and the highway! the babckroads are like never ending and you feel uncomfortable becuz your like the only person driving there... lol
