You said MOST evil. Christendom is the sinlge most hate filled group of people I think I've ever met, especially those that don't know that the US Constitution protects them from themselves yet they still want to do away with it and establish an Theocracy.
actually satanism is not a religion...it is a practce w/c is opposite frm christianity...doesn't consist of any selling of souls...sory 4 those who are offended...but no matter what ur religion is, it is in you on how you express ur role in the society....
I think that in order of the most Evil 1. Christianity 2. Islam 3. Mormonism 4. Judaism. Buddhists, Hindus and Roman/Greek/Nordic polytheism are not very Evil at all...I based what I just said on historical facts.
I do not appreciate you using that picture for Satanism.. That is demonizing Paganism, for all that symbol means is material things over spirituality, not 'Satan' or whatever. Christianity, since it was created, has killed many many people. The Crusades, killing all nonbelievers, the Salem Witch Trials. They tortured Pagans in the early years of Christianity to convert them, and if they did not convert, they were killed. Christianity has stolen holy days Gods and Goddesses from Paganism. Ever heard of the 'demon' Lilith? She is a Goddess who protects infants and pregnant mothers. Christmas, Valentines Day, Halloween, Easter, basically all of the holidays are Pagan in origin. The days of the week are Pagan, even the months are Pagan.
Sunday was named after the Sun god.
Monday was named after the moon goddess.
Tuesday was named after the god Tyr.
Wednesday was named after the god Odin.
Thursday was named after the god Thor.
Friday was named after the goddess Frigga.
Saturday was named after the god Saturn.
JANUARY: Named for Janus, the Roman mighty one of portals and patron of beginnings and endings, to whom this month was sacred. He is shown as having two faces, one in front, the other at the back of his head, supposedly to symbolize his powers.

Oh you don't use the days or the weeks? When someone asks you what day it is I'm sure you don't say the 5th or somethin. I'm sure you say 'it's Tuesday' or something like that. You are just trying to troll.
Lol they aren't non existent. You should really learn your history, hun... And until you actually open your mind to learn, you are wasting my time and trolling me. They exist, I know it. Toodaloo!
if all or any religion is evil than so too are our politicans. I love talking with satanism. The only different between them and me. Is: I worship God and turn to Him for answers and Satanism worship them selves. I met one and we love to exchange our idea because it made us stronger believers in what we choose to follow. would love to have that kind of relationship with them again. I HATE SCIENCE AND WHAT THEY DID TO MY COMMUNITY. I WOULD LOVE TO VANQUISH THEM.
Why are you so ANGRY?? Does the idea that human beings have always looked for solace from a 'higher power' make you (idiotically and irrationally) feel threatened because doing that would make you 'weak'? Finding some peace in the idea that the weight of the world-my world, at any rate-doesn't rest solely on my shoulders, but is carried by another, hopefully wiser, entity is what you might call religion. Be nicer, man. And everyone dies alone. That's not a threat, its a given. Be blessed.
Any institution that dumb downs society is evil. Christianity asks followers to (epecially in America) treat others with hate and malice (GAYS, OTHER RELIGIONS, WOMEN'S RIGHTS). Judaism keeps most followers in the stone age while the anually become he target for all other hateful religions. Mormans condone child brides and multiple brides in some cases. We have a whole state full of mormans (Utah) who take 12 year old girls and force them on 60 year old men. Scientology has perfected the Brainwashing tool where your subjected to endless days of mind torture until you break and they can mold you at will.
Satanism is nowhere near as evil as all the other listed religions because it is the only religion that doesn't encourage murder (except Scientology, but that's almost as stupid and illogical as that Christianity BS).
Mormonism and Catholicism especially. But all religion is evil, for the most part. For weak people for whom rules and regulations are a necessity to feel ok with themselves. Especially considering the 'sins' committed are then always forgiven. How weak willed must one be to rely on an organization of 'holy' elders (preists, rabbi, the pope, reverends and the like) to enforce 'rules' we as humans should simply know and obey, only to be granted 'absolution' when we fail? Isn't it common sense to not kill, steal, hurt or otherwise harm another? Isn't going to church-for a 'sinner' to keep from doing wrong-just like an alcoholic going to AA meetings-to prevent drinking? Don't be weak. Know right from wrong and call on help when you need it from the deity or human being of your choice, but don't stoop to relying on a group conscience. Its bound to backfire. Y
Also, I'm not trying to be blocked and maybe I just missed you're answer, but why was Islam (or Muslim) not mentioned on this list? I'm honestly curious.
islam would be right up there with christianity its the same book only only different cultural twists. since they equally condone rape, child rape, massgenocide, slavery, theft, racism..... besides, why would a god or the church feel the need to put the song of soloman in the "holiest of books", it only describes a naked man and womans body having sex or a prostitute having sex with a man who has the penis of a horse and the "seed" of a donkey, or about the kids who were eaten by a bear cause they called a man bald head. religion "is" the root of not all but most evil. for some reason man made worshiping gods and religion damning himself to repeat down through the millenia for some sick feeble reason. if it wasnt for religion we wouldnt be fighting the "war on terror" cause the bombers acting on religious devotion to die and be with their god and having forever sex with little girls , none of it wouldnt of happened.
This poll is very discriminatory/racist, but still...
Satanism is NOT devil worshipping - That is a big misconception. They teach that humans are just like any other animal and that we should be allowed to fulfill our desires, and that it's only natural. Satanists do not believe that the devil is their God, but rather someone who broke away from the control of God to fulfill his own desires and interests - which is what Satanists live to do, so I don't know why it has so many votes... By the way, I'm Buddhist/Atheist/Other things, and I'm not a Satanist, I'm just sticking up for them.
It's not really fair though, to make this poll.
For one, it's going to offend people.
And also, you haven't listed many responses. Maybe you should have at least added an 'other' or 'none of the above' option.
:)

Not all are so filled with hate. I understand what you are saying, but you are sort of stereotyping. I'm Christian and I believe that gays should have rights and etc. Your religion doesn't completely dominate what you stand for.
I see and nderstand your position, yet as a group, they are the least forgiving and most biased group I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Two of those sub-groups especially -- Mormons and Evangleicals -- have the most sinlgemindedness and bigoted point of view I've ever encountered. They're right and everyone else is wrong. PERIOD. Sorry but there is no such thing as absolutism
Well, since Satanism is a cult that worships the devil, I'm going with that one for being most evil. I know there have been some evil things done in the name of Christianity but the religion itself is not evil or bad.
Satanism is not a cult that worships the devil. I don't like how people take things at face value and decide that something is evil without doing research. By the way, I'm not Satanist myself, I'm just defending a religion that people make assumptions about. I mean no offence to you, and I hope if you have the time, to at least watch some of the following documentary:
Sorry, but as a Christian, I most definitely take Satan very seriously. I would not feel right in watching it. What is their focus on if it is not with Satan as it says "Satanist". Anything in the past that I have inadvertently read or watched, Satanist did in fact worship Satan.
I understand, but why would you feel wrong to watch it? God won't damn you, and it doesn't mean you believe in Satanism if you watch the documentary. It is simply an informative video on a religion. I thought I'd just also say that one of the (Nine, I think) rules of Satanism, quite similar to the Ten Commandments in Christianity, is; 'Best friends with the Christian Church'. I have many good Christian friends who understand this, and even though they don't accept Satanism, they understand it is not a devil worshipping cult, just as Buddhists don't worship Buddha, Satanists don't worship Satan. Please do try to have respect and not judge things. Thank you. :)
