From the Jews killing everyone in their path to the US dropping atomic bombs, I don't think any other religions can compare to the violence that has spread from these religions.

This is more gut feel than fact, but the combination of Jewish, Muslim and Christian histories have a substantial body count, as a percentage of population. The 20th Century probably has the record in absolute body count, with Kaiser Wilhelm, Josef Stalin, Adolph Hitler, and Mao Tse Tung. Humans are humans worst enemies.

The British Imperialists and their State religion headed by the Queen killed more than 66 million people in India and China from the late 18th Century to the beginning of the 20th Century with their Drug pushing and Opium Monopoly. The Sassoon family headed up this deadly trade for the British Drug Pushers.

The British also invaded China and murdered hundreds of thousands more during the 19th Century to preserve their opium monopoly. The British then forced millions of farmers to destroy crops to grow opium resulting in famines in India which killed MILLIONS more. The Church of England led by the British Monarchy is the BIGGEST MASS MURDERER IN HISTORY!!!!

Yes, Mao's numbers could be in the hundreds of millions. But if we take the deaths due to British Opium pushing, British caused famines due to crop destruction to make way for opium, and British war mongering to expand their Empires.. the Queen of England, the Head of the Church of England, was responsible for tens of millions of deaths at a time when the population was more than half of what it was during Mao's time.

Not to sound callous, but you and I cannot bring any of them back. We can however, honor their memory and remind others not to repeat history

In 1838, 800,000 Indians died in the Agra famine. Over 500,000 starved in 1860 in the Northwest, and in 1865-7, one million perished in the Orissa Famine – 1/3 of that area’s population. In 1868-70, 1/3 of the Rajputana population perished of hunger.

Embarrassed by the public outcry in Europe, Britain adopted a simple famine relief program. Only 28 died in the Bihar Famine of 1873-4, but at one dollar per life, Britain abandoned the program as too costly. Another 750,000 starved in the 1896-7 famine, and in 1899, 2.5 million perished. But the poppy prospered.

I think that all religions have done so much damage over the years, I don't think you can say that one is better or worse than the next, I was always taught that God in whatever form was meant to be about spreading love, peace, joy & goodwill to one & all, instead we have more wars & destruction over God, Buddha, Allah, whoever else you care to mention & we waste so much on wars & greed rather than everyday essentials, it will be mankind that eventually destroys this planet & takes all the innocent animals, plants, insects etc which have nothing to do with religion or war or greed........

Clearly those that have put their faith in big government have been responsible for far more death and destruction than anyone else in history.

There's always someone in each religion's supporters who can easily kill for his faith... But I really believe that the behavior of each religion's supporters depends on the hierarchy of their power and how the relationships between different religions have been in the past.... It's actually a political matter... No religion commands people to murder... It's just leaders who use religions' emotional force to control people!

Actually, none but Islam. They are commanded to kill according to the Quran. Not all subscribe to that these days however. (thankfully)

I guess that history eludes you. Abrahamic religions have caused more murder than all the other religions combined.
