It would actually be a tie between homosexuality and incest between consenting adults.

    Really?

Yes. Two adult siblings have just as much right to happiness as two adult homosexuals. As long as they aren't making messed up babies, which we know homosexuals will never do.

Homosexuals can't make messed up babies. You're right because they do artificial insemenation and in vitro fertilization. The odds of the sperm or egg donor being the recipient's first cousin are infinitesimal at best.

Well, homosexual couples aren't making any babies...yet. They can borrow sperm or egg, but then they have a menage a trois type situation.

Seriously! So if pedophiles are having fun, that's okay with you when they do what they do?

Homosexuality is for God to judge only and for it to happen properly it would have to be consensual.
Animals and children can not communicate with authority that they consent in anyway shape or form. This confuses both of them and damages their future relationships. This shortens the child's childhood.
Incest , if there is an imbalance of power in the family unit between siblings it is just as damaging as rape. It becomes about power if there is no love or attraction. It creates a submissive where there shouldn't be one. The victim lacks support in the aftermath.

" if there is an imbalance of power in the family unit .... it is just as damaging as rape." You could say the same thing about any sexual relationship.

Oh! I would love to be in a certain relationship where this one particular man is on my pedestal that I placed him on. My struggle is all the men I have had a relationship with proved to be lesser then he that I had hoped to have when I was ready. The certain someone in my mind that I very much love sadly is married. It would be wrong to act on it. I would be so happy though if I could be in an imbalanced relationship with him. Just because there is an imbalance in a sexual relationship does not ever mean that there is an issue that has to be handled. As long as everyone is in agreement with their maker all is Heaven. I would be truly honored to belong to this man and have him inside me. This should not be mistaken for lust or a crush because it never died. The attachment occurred before his marriage to another. If the relationship is welcomed with this dynamic understood and accepted all is well and good.

Homosexuality is the only one that has consent. The others by definition have no consent.

Let's see, a relationship between two consenting adults, or taking advantage of someone who can't give consent or fight you off. Incest I'll admit grosses me out, but if both are consenting adults it is none of my business.

I just want to weigh in as saying that most respondents seem pretty favorable to your point of view..I've seen a few of your polls now,'Ex'. I agree that there are some pretty 'jacked-up' pov out there, and some will leave some pretty harsh posts. But the fair and even headed opinions seem to prevail.

I don't think that, as people, we're quite as bad as 'we' tend to think we are.

I agree that we're not as bad as we seem, but we still have a long way to go in our society. We're not so bad when we're alone, but when we're with groups of people is another story.

There's truth to that; the group dynamic, I mean. I tend to think that the really hysterical reponses are from people who speak only for themselves.

I just read the response of a fellow below me. America is the land of "prejudiced religeous fanatics" exept I haven't ever known too many of those. Maybe it's just where I live (???). My point is maybe we should be a little less hard on ourselves. A little.

Well when I said we're the land of prejudiced religious fanatics I didn't mean just fundementalists (though there are quite a few of those too) what I meant were all the people who vote to put thier religious views into law oppressing the general public. A good example being those who vote against ssm which would be secular and not affecting them but they've decided to push their religion's values into secular law.

I don't get that, either. I mean, it has nothing to do with me. why would I oppose it. But that's something you'd have to ask those who do. I mean I detect a kind of secular religeon that assumes everything people do is somehow political. Their worried about their own toes being stepped on.

But, like I said, if something 'aint my buisiness, then it 'aint my buisiness. That's the way I always felt. But I live in a very liberal state...

I swear I live in the bluest of all states, lolz. Our republicans are liberal. Our hard-core conservatives would be moderate-liberals anywhere else.

We bitch about stuff but we wouldn't have it any other way. We Yankees are deeply suspicious of extremes of ANYTHING.

I live in Central Texas which is one of the most ultra-conservative states in the Union. Where I am is the blueberry in the tomato soup.
