Summer is here, but soon enough students will be heading back to school. Of course, it's always a good idea to get as much of that back-to-school shopping done as you can ahead of time, but that's not always how it pans out. There's so much ground to cover, and classes have a tendency to creep up on you. Before you know it, you're sitting in math class without a calculator. Not an ideal situation, but hey. Sometimes that's just how it goes.

C'mon people try going in to a Calculus class without a calculator.

Tech Gadgets are completely needed.

I have never used craft supplies yet in high school. And everything else is pretty important.

It really depends on the level of education. The higher the lever the greater the need for tech gadgets and the lesser the need for new clothes etc.

... SERIOUSLY?? TECH GADGETS are the least necessary?!?

One word: CALCULUS.

Not doing it for you? ALGEBRA. GEOMETRY. TRIGONOMETRY. I can go on here, it all leads to: CALCULATORS. It's technology, and unless you've birthed the next Steven Hawking - which, sorry parents, you probably didn't - they're gonna need calculators, and those fall under tech gadgets.

Let me ask this: Would you rather kids pass their classes, or keep themselves from getting sick?

If they get sick, they'll get over it much faster than they can recover from a big fat F.

By the way, how many of you went to school and freaked out when you left your precious Purell bottle at home? Yeah, I didn't either. And I "SURVIVED" without it.

Some math classes ask for a specific type of calculator, but in general, I'd say the last three on the list are not essential (tech, craft, or health).

I don't use craft supplies at all in school. If I ever do use them, they are provided by the teacher, in addition to the sanitizer.

Tech Gadgets are more essential than you think, SodaHead.

Glue would have to be my big money waster growing up. Even though I used it maybe twice in Kindergarten, my grandmother felt the need to buy me a large economy size bottle every August for the next twelve years and it never even got opened let alone used.

Minus calculators, of course... or maybe an MP3 player if you're the kind of person who needs to listen to music while working (and it's allowed). But computers? The school has them for a reason.

We dont use craft stuff anymore. That was elementary. Well my school has laptops that the students use throughout the years so i guess my school depends on technology.

Laptops and iPads arnt allowed in my school (unless you have a project), and I don't need a calculater. I always forget it at home anyways.

Teachers try to encourage children to do without calculators, it's all part of the learning process, and you can't use them in exams (well could't when I went to school)..

If the janitors are good then the sinks will be alright! Plus you can always use a paper towel to turn it off and on. :)

Calculators are a Tech Gadget which I think is DEFINITELY essential, so that was out.
Then I considered the true importance of sanitizers and disinfectants and I realized that they are important. Germs spread so easily in school!
I decided on craft supplies because you use them the least.

I don't know about other schools, but every school I've attended(or both of them) has provided hand sanitizer in most classrooms.
I don't use it because it smells awful, but it's there.

ALL of these are necessary at some grade level. I just picked this option because you generally don't need craft supplies in the higher grades, but younger kids do. Just like little kids don't need tech supplies (other than a calculator) but college students practically have to nowadays.

I meant as well, good hygiene is essential now-a-days. But such things as inhalers or other things keep people from being several hurt. It says hygiene= so yes soap. And wellness= inhalers, allergy relief, etc. Soap can't prevent a asthma attack.

WHY THE HELL DO YOU KEEP ASKING SCHOOL RELATED STUFF. >.> it is SUMMER stop asking things about school. i want to not think about that for at least another month and a half. >.< thank you very much
