Mother's Day is almost here, and to celebrate we wanted to give mothers a chance to discuss familial Facebooking, and how social media plays into parenting. Should moms "friend" their kids on Facebook? Do their kids even want to be friended? What do people really think about parents who make Facebook pages for their babies? Do families hide things from each other online? And don't forget, we have demographic breakdowns to shed more light on the answers to those questions.

+1Since my children still live in my house, use my phone and computers, and get mail @ my PO Box, it would be really awkward if we used any of these methods for "most of our communication." Is there a reason that "Face to Face" or "In Person" wasn't on either this question or the one about communicating with Mom?reply - LadyXaos ☮ 2012/04/25 17:53:31Phone+2Normally we just talk face to face. When my son is out we will call each other and sometimes my son will send me a text with a picture that he has taken of something. Since we live in the same household we would feel kind of silly using things like facebook, twitter and mail to communicate.reply

Face to face communication is where it's at when it comes to your kids! That'll hold true even when she's 18 and above.reply
