dreadlocks,, they are beautiful, and i have dreadlocks, and im only 15 im still trying to get them mint but atm they are pretty good, and ive done it all by myself, using products i can afford. i am waiting for them now to grown and get bigger and longer tbh, but atm, thier sweeeet, and any guy with dreadlocks, (who looks fit) i always fall for ahha :) Love youus Jodie :)

I think that dreads can look good on a white person if they have the correct hair and facial structure. I actually kinda sorta want dreads and I am a very white girl. lol.

the only drawback to the style for a white person,is the fact that black folks hair does this naturally,and can be washed without losing it's form.whites hair was not meant for it,and must undergo a great deal of manipulation to get even close.then ya'll can't wash it for a while,cause it will come apart.and even when they're "done," they still have that half finished look to them,because they won't "lock" at the roots.

I agree that white hair does not work as well as black hair for this, but I have seen some really good dreads on white people. Some white people do have good hair for dreads. And you can wash your hair, just use non-residue shampoo.

actually,the rastas were not first with the style.it began in africa.there they wear it completely different;men do not wear them,the women that do manicure them very tightly and are worn in a angular "bob" style,until they get longer.

rastas wear theirs in a more"natural" style;allowing them to just grow with no manipulation,they cover them most of the time,the more devout they are in their faith.
