All of my pets, that I named, have human names. The only one I didn't name is Kiki. My brother named her before he decided he no longer wanted a cat. My other babies are Annabelle, Auroura, and Connor. I have always named my pets with human names. First there was Michael (named after me), then Oprah, Murphy, Virgil, Constance, Becker, and Rouge (I didn't name her). All of them are dead now.

I got Michael when I was seven, when she was three she gave birth to Oprah. Oprah died when she fell from a tree and shattered her hip. (We had to have her put down.) Murphy was my first puppy. She died at like ten weeks old. Her mother was too rough with her and killed her. I got Virgil when I was like eleven or twelve. Then I decided that I prefered cats to dobermans so my parents bought me Constance as a trade for Virgil. Michael was hit by a car when she was twelve years old. It was the first time I'd ever seen my dad cry. He was across the street from our house and she was crossing the street so he would pat her. After Michael died my parents bought me Becker. He was a pure bred boxer. Such a beautiful puppy. When my family moved to Florida the only places we could get into wouldn't allow big dogs. So we put Virgil and Becker up for adoption. I got Rouge when she was already like eight years old. She is the only one that I know is still living. I was afraid that Connor would end up hurting her so I gave her to my parents. Constance survived the trip to Florida only to escape from the house and get killed by a stray dog.

Wow. You could write a book on your pet history alone. I do love animals though. : )

I have a Sheltie named Sammy.
I have a cat whose name was supposed to be Muffin but I called her Kitty too much when I was little so now she believes that to be her name. She is 12.
and.. another cat named Twister who is unfriendly but still cute. : )

My brother had Michaels brother. I had a speech impediment so I could never say his name right. He ended up being called Leisha because that was as close as I could come to saying his name right.

I love animals. They are never intentionally cruel like people.
