Sometimes we have to move away from a position in which we feel secure in order to love. Whenever you express love to another, there is often the possibility that you will be hurt, but it is better, I believe, to express love anyway. The Bible I think is clear in saying that love is more important than security. It is definitely nice to have security too, however.
This is very vague so I will happily interpret this my own way :) Do we ever have security? I am not so certain that we do. I cannot imagine living and never having loved. Any security I have ever had in my life may well have been an illusion, but I certainly hope the love hasn't.
If I was with someone I loved and who loved me, I would be okay. I once lived in a pup tent in a primative campground with someone. Not easy, but being with your love gives you strength to perservere and overcome.
As secure as is possible in this economy, though I live in one of the hardest hit states and cities in the country. Also, security is not guaranteed when you are self-employed in a very small business as I am that has seen many small companies go out of business recently.
I wouldn't know, I have always had plenty to eat and a roof over my head. I have also always had kind loving parents, the security of a family including grandparents, aunts uncles and cousins who loved and protected me. I have always been secure in my beliefs, my jobs, my friends, and my spouse and children. God indeed has been good to me.
I do understand, yet for me is LOVE, love can change manythings for good, security? Youc an be with someone for security and not for love, it will fail... I choose love
