Both of them are affordable, tasty and good for you...Why would anyone go to a fast food place when there are plenty of Mexican or Chinese places around?!
It all depends on where I am headed. I have a favorite Chinese place, and a favorite Mexican place, and I also love Taco Bell (I know it is not really Mexican, but it is not horrible food with a drive thru window.)
I grew up with both cuisines, the authentic versions, or at least as authentic you can get in the US. My mom is a Mexican immigrant, and I have two older cousins whose dad is a Chinese immigrant.
Not so much which is better as which do I personally prefer. I have never been a big fan of Chinese food, or what passes for it in North America. Of course I have had some very bad Mexican too.
I seriously can't choose. I love both but eat Asian more. It's easier to eat Asian here because the Mexican places are few and far between and you can't just go to a grocery store and buy frozen Mexican food lol. It's not as accessible as the States. And after eating REAL Mexican the version in Australia DOES NOT compare. I find myself being disappointed time and time again. I'm still searching for the best Mexican here. The only place that was pretty authentic was also pretty expensive. Our dinner for 2 ended up costing over $150 including a couple drinks. It was worth it though
I eat somethng Mexican at least once a week. I cook it myself too. Sometimes I'll look for recipes but again it's hard when they tell you to use a certain something and it's hard to come by. I love it though
It all depends on who the cooks or chef's are. I have eaten delicious Mexican food and terribly prepared Mexican foods. I have eaten delicious Chinese foods and terribly prepared Chinese foods.
milder does seem to be far better for me ..
I can't tolerate a lot of 'spice' ..
I do enjoy a lot of the Chinese/Japanese Cuisine ..
am kind of a wimp when it comes to 'Spicy', so....
