Great sandwich although I DO NOT like their politics or their "religiosity"! At least our local Chick-fil-A has stopped the annoying "Christian Rock" which necessitated using ONLY the carry-out service for several years! Believe what you want but just shut the hell up about it!
but kfc itself is not as good as it once was. the prices are ridiculous and it doesn't have the quality like it used to. it used to be a way to feed your family on a budget.
I have always like KFC in rare and small amounts. Never have had the other one...None of it is very healthy for good for us. But in small amounts now and then should be good. Tho the best fried chicken comes from my local grocery deli....
Oh God, definitely. Unfortunately, Zaxby's resides mainly in the Southeastern United States, so people in other areas of the country aren't able to share in the pleasure.
Both are headquartered in Georgia, so that might have something to do with it, but I had always thought that Chick-fil-A was a nationwide chain.
I glanced at Wikipedia really quickly and read this...
"... Long associated with the southern United States, where it has been a cultural icon, the chain has expanded. As of January 2012, Chick-fil-A has 1,606 restaurants in 39 states and the District of Columbia, and is focusing future growth on the American Midwest and southern California."
I like Popeye's, too. It's been a while since I've eaten there, though. And Bojangle's chicken biscuits are pretty good (hell, their biscuits alone are good).
I used to like the McRibs when I was younger. I recently gave them another try to see if they were as good as I remember them... they weren't.
We don't have Chick-fil-A in my neck-of-the-woods but I would love to give it a try.
As far as KFC goes,I can't really remember what it tastes like because every time I go there the jackasses that work there either f@&% my order up or take 99 years and a dark Sunday to get my order together,so I usually get pissed and walk out.
oh - - and the food tastes better, too.
It's true, there are none up north, so when I moved down I said wtf is Zaxby's. Now I know for sure. Mmmm.
Altho I will say I never heard of a chick-fil-a, till I moved down south.

*lolz
I'm a Popeye's kind of gal myself, but its been a long time since I had Chick-Fil-A.

Right, cuz I'm going to pay a restaurant money so that they can use it to keep gays from getting equal rights >.>
