Eating trans fats are NOT healthier for you. Just use butter, it tastes much better and is not as harmful to you.

On bread: a 'near-butter' product we have in Denmark . In cooking and baking: real butter. I find margarine rather off-putting, but I do use it in one chocolate cake I sometimes make.

Butter is food.Margarine is synthetic ,chemical and deadly.I can't imagine any doctor recommending that any human should eat it.
May be time to tell any Dr. that does that to STFU and question everything they have ever said.

margarine is closer to plastic than food, molecularly and that could be a contributor to alzheimers and other mental health issues of the elderly.

Has to be butter to sautee a steak. Otherwise I'm impartial. Sorry, Wisconsin.

I reject out of hand what appears to have become basically an ideology surrounding either of the two. People should learn the advantages and disadvantages of both, apply them to their physiological and dietary needs and wants, and leave it at that. Anything beyond such an approach and my eyes are rolling.

how could anyone eat a man made product that has to be colored with dye to make it look edible? margarine is the original trans fat, the stuff that is banned in schools. in the old days, matgarine was sold with a little capsule of yellow dye to mix into the white mass so it looked like butter.
