This was all in the Summer of 2003.
I visited Italy, Vatican City, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and France.
I've also been to Mexico a lot, but that isn't overseas.

Do you have a fave? If you could only return to one place, which would it be and why?

Austria. Beautiful land, good food, and I'm pretty good at speaking German. I also stayed with a host family in Vienna, and I'd love to see them again.

Sounds wonderful. I've only been to Spain and Portugal. Someday I would like to travel Europe and see all the Cathederals ( I'm not Catholic I just have a fascination with cathederals lol). Hope you get back to see your family across the pond.

Where would you go first, if you've never travel abroad?

I traveled on business to London, Paris and Brussels. I was able to spend some time in each and I have to say I liked Paris the best. Brussels was really interesting and I didn't really enjoy London that much. It was odd to be in a city where there were so many people (hotel and restaurant, etc.) couldn't speak engilsh.

If you have a choice, just go to Paris.

I would love to see the English and Scottish Castles. My parents did that a while back and raved about it.

No, I didn't work the cruise lines. I was a 17-year HR Employee Communications and Recreation Administrator. As part of my job, I planned group trips for the employees and accompanied the groups as the escort. Those were working trips but I had the benefits of travelling to Europe, the Caribbean, and Hawaii. Also, my trip to Japan was a working trip when I attended a two-week management training session in Osaka. Prior to that job, I worked at a major airline and travel agency and was able to travel at a discount. The other trips, such as Ireland, Canada, Mexico and Spain, were vacation trips with my family and/or friends. Yes. It was amazing! Wish I could do it all again but I have the "photographs and memories" (copied from Croce).
