Which charities do you most often support?

Gassenjunge 2012/04/10 23:08:10
I prefer to give to women's and children's charities that distribute their efforts and funds within the US, such as: www.stjude.org/ www.rainn.org/ , www.amnestyusa.org/ , and www.polarisproject.org/ are a few.

I've been sponsoring children whom I am close to for a very long time. They are my extended family.

I like to keep things as local as practical...we don't have much around here for the types of charities i like to give to so i give to individuals and families when it's possible. thanks for your response :)

The amnestyusa.org effort is one of a few exceptions to my women and children rule for the human rights efforts they so actively pursue.
