All of them serve very important roles in our defense but right now Im favoring the Navy because If I dont my Navy daughter will disown me.

They are all great and they are all important. I've had family members in every branch of the military. God bless them all!

(Hey, Family members have served in all but the Coast Guard .. and I'm friends with several in the Coast Guard too. )

You couldn't ask for more honorable, conscientious, giving, caring and generous people .. who HONOR Their oaths each and every day .. (most people don't realize .. the extensive nature of the off-duty volunteerism that is also present in the Service Communities .. )

I say this the coast guard. They go out in hurricanes, brave cold weather up in northern states to rescue ship that are capsized. and they help protect the U.S coast. Which is a lot to cover. Hope all to them safe travel, no matter what branch of service they do.

I found this photo and it looks to be when the JFK was the host ship during INR Week back in 1986. If so, I was one of those you see manning the rails when it was first arriving.

As far as actual service, I'd have to say the Navy, they go out into and under the sea for months at a time. I know I couldn't handle that myself. The field was bad enough for someone that likes a nice bed... now... as far as uniforms and service people... Marines... Oh My... total hotness ...

They're sexy.... and they know it....

All Branches of our Military should be admired. Each one has a mission, and in most cases are dependent on each other to accomplish it.

Those who experienced combat can attest to that..

I was in the Army, so I can relate to it in a deeper way, but, I really admire all of the people who make the decision, to join any branch of the military and serve in any capacity.
