- Scream 2012/07/31 07:21:18DependsI had very different relationships with my parents. I'm a daughter to my Dad but was more of a friend to my Mum. Both the relationships were just as strong thoughreply
- blissful 2012/07/31 04:24:18DependsDepends on how well you get along with that particular parent.reply
- VampFreak13 2012/07/31 04:21:19DependsThe dynamics of the personalities would more than likely be the deciding factor...I was close to my father as a child...but at 13 became closer to my mother...she was my best friend... :)reply
- Jalysa Ellis 2012/07/31 03:29:25DependsMothers and daughters can relate better, but fathers almost always has that protector, "She will always be my perfect little princess and I will shoot the bastard that hurts her in the balls after breaking my foot off in their ass" type attitude.reply

- YepIDidItSo 2012/07/31 02:11:58DependsI don't know, because I was raised by my mother and only saw my father in bits and pieces. Our bond was very strong, and I have no way of comparing a father/daughter relationship. I know that I have gotten very close to my father now that I am a grownup.reply
- L1 2012/07/31 01:56:56DependsIt can go either way...reply
- Pele Emerging 2012/07/31 01:51:22DependsI don't think one or the other is necessarily stronger: It depends on the parents and the child. I can honestly say that I was close to both my parents. The mother/daughter bond was strong during childhood and strengthened again after I had children. The father/daughter bond was always special, too, but strongest during teen years when mothers and daughters tend to be at odds. I love both my parents and miss both a lot.reply
- terrabytes 2012/07/31 01:45:04Dependsdepends on the family and how many childrenreply
- strawberry 2012/07/31 01:43:38DependsUsually mothers and daughters argue more. In majority cases daughters take to their fathers more. Even though mothers mean well for their daughters, daughters seem to be more forgiving toward their fathers faults.reply
- NPC 2012/07/31 01:42:19DependsIf there is one female the bond could go either way. If there is one son it could go either way. i have a large family and it was interesting who was with who in the end. Might surprise you if you had 9 brothers and sisters and what happenied over a 30 year span !reply
