  Normally, I prefer American cars, but nothing is made here anymore. I do like the Ford Flex, as well, though. Personally, I drive a minivan because I need to haul six kids around - I look at ease of entrance and exit when looking at a car. I think -will my kids be able to escape from the back if there's a bad accident?

  If I had my choice of only the ones above it would be the Flex with the EcoBoost V6 twin turbo out of the SHO Taurus.
  
  But I really like the Mercedes Benz 350GL Turbo Diesel with 7 speed automatic.
