Where Would You Rather Live: East Coast or West Coast?

I live in New York baby!

By FAR I prefer west coast. I've lived on both sides long enough to know why. Personally, I find the weather of each coast to be very representative of its people--the west being quite temperate and the east being moody as hell. You can't even compare the summers...California is FAR more comfortable than anywhere in the east, where it's disgustingly humid, hot and thunderstorming rampantly through the spring and summer. You barely get to ENJOY the sun because clouds roll in at about 3pm every other day like clockwork. No thank you, SoCal for me!!

I'm from the bowels of America,(Louisiana!)Lived in the Trinidad,Tejas,and Arkansas! But not until I resides on the West Coast did I feel I was at home with the best,receiving the most out of my life!

Anywhere from Tennessee to Maine

Not as much dangers or problems, but the west coast is more live though

I've lived on the West Coast for most of my life, and I've never once set foot
on the East Coast, in my entire life. So until I fufill that particular part of my
bucket list and visit the East Coast, it's the West Coast for me.

I like the West Coast, and just so happens it's the part of the country I live in.

I hate the East Coast!

Lol the west coast of Alaska! Way to many liberals in both for me! But if I had to pick I guess Oregon or Washington state aren't totally over runned or ruined yet. I live in Philly my whole life and I'd rather drink beech then live out my life here!

Porn is produced on the West Coast. I know... I know... some porn is made in studios on the East Coast. Still, the West Coast produces the most.

Also, on the West Coast, Black people are being ethnically cleansed by Hispanics.

where at? Me I have lived in Cali (9yrs) and then in Mass (9 yrs). I can't say much for the south, but I loved New England way more than Cali.

For climate, I liked upstate NY, lived in Corning and on Seneca Lake. We almost moved to NH...but the particular locale had a lot of seasonal mosquitos...
Florida didn't impress me when I visited family...and NC summers are hellishly hot and humid...I could probably be happy, busy and find friends most anywhere though...
I like the Pacific NW!

The nights are certainly dryer and cooler than the east coast....makes it easier to sleep

I love the East, but I choose to live on the West Coast because the weather is more to my liking.

I love New York, I love Boston, I just love New England, though I have been to California and Washington several times and do enjoy it.

Actually - east or west doesn't matter with me - south and north are the issue. Northern west or east coast is fine with me.

I only speak truth, so here it is-
Central California coast, I have found nowhere on earth better, all around all year round.
Plenty to do, plenty of fine people to do it with. John Cleese retired nearby I'm told. I have never seen him, but I understand he has a odd walk.

I love my town. Dozens of clubs. Art and character galore. We have many good local bands, like these guys playing at the high school in a few weeks.

They led the Swing Fest at the County Fair. But just one of hundreds of bands here, plus artists, of every type, plus theatre...No Light Opera though.

East Coast summer, West Coast winter detest real extremes of either hot or cold.

East coast summers suck. Boston and Atlanta have disgusting humidity and heat. You can't get away from it!

Maine is kind of nice in the summer having spent a few there.

lol I live not that far from Point Conception on west coast.
A variation of that thought I always had, was I probably have the cleanest air in the country.
I had the entire Pacific to scrub it clean before it picked up pollution again.

I am biased because I was born on the East Coast. I have never been to the West Coast, but, I hope to one day.

We've got less urbanization, a ton of history, a pretty resilient accepting community, and our economy is doing pretty well all things considered. I like my coast. It's got the things I like. (I speak of the Florida and North/South Carolina coasts because I've never desired to visit any beaches farther north than the Carolinas.)

I have lived on the west coast my entire life. All the way from Orange County to southern WA.
