If you read The Bible as it is written and not how you interpret it, it is the perfect way to live!

I grew up latch-key but was raised Christian at first. I grew away from my religion as a grew and thought of my own ideas and beliefs.

So I learned some lessons from religion and my parents but in the end I found my own way through my experience in life. I think it has given me much stronger conviction and morals than religion or my parents could have ever given me by themselves.

My mom and dad, the bible. I came from a very moral family to this day we still love our Lord our country and our fellow human. I just wish that more people respected our great nation and the veterans who served her. To many people have forgot what it is like to show companion...

A combination of my own conscience, family teachng/tradition and laws of the land. Religious teaching has had no part in it at all, except in whatever part it played in my own parent's moral/ethical education.

What a great question, Republic of Honor.

My parents handed on to me the most basic of moral teaching - the Golden Rule. It is so basic and simple that one live a very moral life by following that one guide.

My mom and grandparents taught me a lot of moral which were originally based on teachings of the bible. But as I grew older, I started to build my own value of life and rules of ethics I guess.
