When you move, do you loose a lot of your property in the process?

We are getting down to a day more before we are evicted, and we are going through all of our stuff. We have to choose which items to leave and which to take to the homeless shelter. Of course, we can only take the bare essentials, but even those are in 2/3 garbage bags worth of stuff: mostly clothes more than anything else. And I guess it's finally setting in, a lot of the sentimental items and my fiancee's beloved plush animals, and a lot of her books and movies will have to remain behind... We don't have a love of things or money, but there are sentimental items and items that you bought together that is hard to part with.

What about you, do you leave much behind?
