When you go to a candy store and have a box prepared and it goes over the intended weight, do you accept the extra amount or tell the Candy Associate to put it back?

I don't go in candy stores though when I was little my family would go to a mall in a city kind of far from where we live and once a year on the exact same day every year my brother and I would each get one paper sack of candy of our choice we were always the first in the truck on those days but that was when I was 4 and had broken leg
