    It doesn't really bother me, but there are times when I wonder why they question my reply when others have said the same thing. Most of the time, I just ignore them and if they get rude, I will block them.

    No, when I get bored of the conversation I usually end it with a "regardless, have a good day" and once thats said I very seldom go back and read any replies after that. If you dont reply to any further comments they cant keep challenging you.

    I wish I could, but I enjoy trying to put them down, as if I ignore them they will move on to someone else, who gets affected by it.....but your way is the best way...

    So long as they are polite and we don't keep going round in circles. After a while I just say that in this particular instance I think we should agree to disagree and leave things on a friendly note. The other person is almost always happy to accept we'll never agree and leave it at that too. If they aren't I just move on and forget all about it.

    Sometimes the answer is yes but other times who cares. You have to pick your fights and decide is the person going to discuss something or just agrue.

    As long as the person doing the challenging is respectful and actually wants to debate then I have no problem with it. Then of course there are the other kind that have nothing constructive to say, and no doubt cannot, but will only put you down. I try once and that tells me all I need to know it they are worth my time. If they are not I simply do not respond back. When no one is listening then your a fool to keep talking.

    If its a logical debate, its fine. But many treat arguments like fights to the death and they just HAVE to win. That's when it gets annoying.

    Yes, but ONLY if they are simply keeping up an annoying conversation that is going nowhere, like the one I just encountered. I can deal with informed logical reasoning... Everybody knows the difference
