We have seen them all come and go - White, Off White, Pink, Aqua, Black, Harvest Gold, Coppertone, Avocado, Bisque, Etc. and now the trend is Stainless that was popular for a short time in the early 50s. How many years until we hear, I just have to get rid of those old outdated stainless appliances? And what's next?

I would love to have a stainless steel kitchen because it is so easy to clean and wears well too.

Historically stainless steel is hard to keep clean and with age it gets dull and gray.

It is far easier to degerm stainless than other surfaces. That is why it is in commercial kitchens. I've never had a problem with stainless.

Stainless is changing with the times and now comes in varieties that don't leave finger prints.

Through all those colors... Stainless was also available, but it was also usually the most expensive (and still is!). It will never be completely out of style, however the cabinetry design will change.

Real stainless steel does show finger prints and can be hard to clean!

While polished stainless seriously shows fingerprints... not so much in the brushed.. but does still show some, and they wipe off quite easily.

I've had stainless products for many years.. cleaning has never been a problem or an issue. Most ot the time a simple hot-damp rag does the trick.

The Military will teach you very well, how to keep stainless kitchen products clean! :)

Ever wonder why most serious resturant kitchens have used stainless products for many many years?

And my wife worked in serious restaurant kitchens for years and always complained about how hard it was to keep clean. Good thing for me that’s why she likes the off white appliances and they are much cheaper. LOL!
