I refuse to be bound by structures created by man to control other men for no other reason than to observe false power. Yet I am happy to observe laws that seek to help the earth and the human race flourish. (Which is why I don't like current patent laws but that's another topic I guess).
There are really only two choices.
1. Burn in Hell
2. Kiss the ass of yahweh.
Guess which one I prefer. At least I'm honest about it, don't go around trying to control people, in fact I'm a teacher, I don't go round saying "you can't do this you can't do that... why? because a book says so." and I have the moral decency to be able to tell right from wrong without a 2500 year old book.
He loves you whether you love Him or not...He loves us enough to invite us to follow him, but loves us too much to drag us behind him.......good luck
As far as I see it, Lucifer tried to over throw god. Why? Because he thought he could. Which means "Lucifer seeks to better himself, he is ambitious and creative"... << that's someone who I'd rather serve than someone who states, "I am the lord thy god. Thou shalt hath no other god before me." (Isaiah) God rules by fear, lies and wrath. He always has done (if by the way, he exists).
... now...having re-read parts of the bible and I am doing some research. Could you indicate where it says Satan is evil? Or Lucifer is evil and why they are so? >.> Can't seem to find a damn passage anywhere.

Note, I am actually quite open minded, part of the reason why I came to the conclusion that god is actually the bad guy in all of this...*shrugs*.
20:10 Gog and Magog...sound like they weren't actually deceived but made up their own minds... (why does this sound lord of the rings ish? I mean come on Great White Throne? What is this Minas Tirith?...anyway...). I'll keep looking back a few passages on this one to check for any deception.

Peter. Point taken, but blind acceptance is pretty foolish and how are we to know who are false or not except from using our Critical thought, seeing and knowing with our own hands and eyes? o.O
In fact if he provided any more evidence, (like His face painted across the entire sky, or millions of angels flying around, etc...) you wouldn't have free will anymore and that is one of the things he created us in His image and likeness.

As for Peter, Jesus established his Church so that the faithful would not be decieved. It is a miracle that the Church has survived for 2000 years. And Jesus said: "ask, it shall be given to you...seek, and you will find....knock, and the door will be opened to you, for ALL who ask, recieve, and ALL who seek shall find, and ALL who knock, the door shall be opened to you"
Firstly, I applaud your striving to live a life or morals without the framework of eternal reward/ eternal loss. Second, faith is a gift of the Holy Spirit, given at different times to different individuals, but the above passage assures us that ANYONE who seeks the truth will find it and be granted the gift of faith. Third, I appreciate how difficult it can be for ...

For those without faith, no proof will suffice.
As for his face painted across the sky...why wouldn't I have free will? In fact, that might actually convince me there's a god...provided I get to run a few tests =P. I'll take Jesus' words. I do not seek God, I seek knowledge of the world around me and allegedly god is apart of that world. It is my job to prove one way or the other of his existence at moment I have no evidence.
Okay, if you're not prepared to believe the Miracle of Life... how do you explain God? And if you can't give me an answer, why is it any different from the answer we of the scientific community have given you? God is no more unexplainable than the universe itself. Except we know at one point, there was no universe, but there's never been proof of any other supernatural existence o.o
Reincarnation is not just a possibility it's a certainty. Maybe not with all the same constituent parts and certainly not with the same memories but it is certain the same parts will be used over and over. There's only a limited about of matter on this earth and it all gets recycled continuously. =3 (This is why I would prefer to be cremated and scattered over a field =D
