I am a Scientific Pantheist or a Naturalistic Pantheist. God is the Universe or Nature. God is the totality of existence, everything and everyone is part of God. God is not humanoid, It does not have personality or persona, it does not have gender, It is not jealous, it does not crave our worship or prayer. God does not have desires or concerns, It does not speak to people, It does not hear prayers. Pantheists venerate the Universe for its totality and its order. They are (at least mostly) environmentalists out of respect for Nature. They are (mostly) Humanists, concerned with the welfare of others and of humankind. See "Religion Without Revelation" by Julian Huxley to understand how to be religious without prayer, worship or a personal god.

There are many religions with Pantheistic thought. John Shelby Spong espouses a Christianity which is essentially Pantheistic. http://johnshelbyspong.com/

Most Native Ameican religions are (or were) Pantheistic. See God is Red by Vine Deloria for an excellent introduction to Native American religious thought.

I'm not anti christian most of my friends are christian but on behalf of all my friends who dislike people who attack others beleifs I have a nice reply to your comment about Athiests enjoy.

Wait a minute chief, don't hate me because I believe. I'm going by on what the bible is saying. I'm a black man and understanding the bible helped me understand who I am and what I am, and the original Hebrew's are black. It speaks of that all through the old testament.

Yes, saying that they are "chosen" is implying that they're special. If Jews really were "chosen" then God wouldn't have let the Holocaust, crusades, etc happen.

Gingey, the real, original Hebrews are black. These today Jewish people "white people" took the Jew and added ish for Jewish and now claim to be the chosen children of God. But if you read the bible, KJV especially, you will read for yourself that black people are the real Hebrews and how and why we became the chosen children . I could send you some scriptures showing you exactly what is said. if you'd like.

I've looked into various religions and found common threads. There are parts of each I believe hold value, so I'm not discounting any, but that doesn't mean I agree with everything any one religions says to be true. Mostly, I believe that religion is a private matter, and don't force my views on anyone, and prefer that they don't force their views on me. If it harm none, do as you will.
