I am a Scientific Pantheist or a Naturalistic Pantheist. God is the Universe or Nature. God is the totality of existence, everything and everyone is part of God. God is not humanoid, It does not have personality or persona, it does not have gender, It is not jealous, it does not crave our worship or prayer. God does not have desires or concerns, It does not speak to people, It does not hear prayers. Pantheists venerate the Universe for its totality and its order. They are (at least mostly) environmentalists out of respect for Nature. They are (mostly) Humanists, concerned with the welfare of others and of humankind. See "Religion Without Revelation" by Julian Huxley to understand how to be religious without prayer, worship or a personal god.
See the World Pantheist Movement for more information.
    http://www.pantheism.net/
Look at the religion/philosophy of famous Naturalistic Pantheists like David Hume, Julian Huxley and Albert Einstein.

Please be aware there are also Spiritual Pantheists, who believe there is a spiritual dimension, that souls or spirits exist. Ralph Waldo Emerson and his "Oversoul" is perhaps the best know example of this school of thought. The Oversoul is the sum of all spirit. http://www.hi-des-website.com...

There are many religions with Pantheistic thought. John Shelby Spong espouses a Christianity which is essentially Pantheistic. http://johnshelbyspong.com/

Most Native Ameican religions are (or were) Pantheistic. See God is Red by Vine Deloria for an excellent introduction to Native American religious thought.

Atheism is a philosophy. That is the polar opposite of religion. However, the notion that something just created veryrhing is just as silly as that something couldn't just exist either. It's equally ludicrous to believe that something gave an already existant planet new inhabitants, and formed it to livable in seven days, simply not probable. Science, if. The diety thing does exist, is also a gift given by that diety, so I do not understand why, then, religion tries to stop it's advancement so often.

    Atheism is not a religion.

    Definition of atheism:

a : A disbelief in the notion of the existence of deity/supernatural

b : The philosophical doctrine that there is no deity/are no deities

    Definition of a religion:

    1) the service and worship of a deity/the supernatural
    2) commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance
    3) a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices
    4) a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith

    PLEASE LEARN THE DIFFERENCE.

New Age, I am the leader of this faith (perhaps someday I might be recognized as a Messiah, you cannot say:) our book of guidance is not yet finished, but our teachings take the good aspects of every major world religion and morality into account.

We believe heaven and hell are one entity (peace, life and its lessons continue after a person experiences death, they will be reincarnated). We do not talk about god, but we know how we came to be, we are the descendants of a greater being, still present with us, unfortunately the very sight of such a being, drives a basic human insane.

We must all acknowledge the power within us, the only thing stopping one from changing something in this world, is there own will. See your body as a highly developed gift, think of it as a machine, learn how to use your body with other objects, remove yourself of emotions in the moment, embracing them later (feelings run deeper this way)

It is also essential that emotions do not effect you, as you must keep a calm head, at ALL times, never raise your voice in anger, never lower it in fear, when you are in control of yourself, you are in control of everything around you.

Please do not reply until you have embraced our message, I will only listen to constructive criticism, not arrogant negativity.

Like I said, every website I looked at to research this project for History stated that the religion that your referring to mixed cyanide with punch and told their followers to drink it. Some would call it massacre, others insist mass suicide. People claim that the followers were forced to drink or the guards in Jamestown would've shot them.

I only know what the interviews and history books tell me. I wasn't there (thank God), so I'm not calling myself an expert.

Well I am afraid you are wrong..

American people tend to assume they know what my religion is, I am afraid there is nothing quite like it, people will be scared of this (I expect the American mass may become hysterical over something like this) because it is simply not something they "know anything about" so even when we reveal our society, "regular" people will try and tell themselves it is like a certain religion.

I avoid America now, and maybe always because of this, we are happy to leave your country in the dark.

I never claimed that I was right. I said that already. All I know is what I got from the internet and books. Hypocrite.

You're talking about making assumptions and you're making assumptions about ALL Americans. How do you know that ALL Americans won't support you? Have you taken a poll? Have you gone up to a few hundred and asked them personally? So how do you know this? At least I have a reason for being ignorant: the biased media.

    Elaborate, if you please?

No, you implied that was what my group is...

I still know there are good Americans over there (hard to find though) do not take my language literally, often the sign of someone who is losing a debate here.

I have talked to many personally, I still do, I look at how your Masses handles the most simple of situations, and I can safely say, we want nothing to do with you, we have a better understanding in Middle-Eastern states than yours right now.

There is no reason for ignorance, it is our own responsibility to maintain an open and realistic mind.

Some of the things in your first comment are similar to what Jim Jones preached before the relocation of the People's Temple to Guyana. Of course people are going to react to that negatively, considering that Jonestown was one of the most horrific events in our history.

They'd be afraid that history would repeat itself.

The People's Temple started out pretty good and they disliked all the 'immorality' in the U.S. at that time. They had some of the best aspects of Christianity, like helping those less fortunate than themselves. Jim Jones had a vision for a better world and did take steps at first to make the world better, such as aiding the homeless and sick, and integrating the races.

I'm sure that you're much more stable and stronger-willed than Jones, so history has a slim chance of repeating itself. I agree, America has made some bad decisions, but hasn't every nation at some point?
