Which state do you like the most. Other than the one you live in!

Mine is Hawaii, so much so that i'm learning Hawaiian (well, that's mostly just because I think it's cool sounding. My second favorite would have to be Alaska and guess what...i'm learning Yupik too. XD They are both really hard and i suck but oh well lol.

I think I have some distant relatives on my mother's side in Maine. They landed in Virginia, then decided to go north. Bailey is their name. Their southern cousins were all Confederate soldiers, many with the 49th Georgia Infantry. Ah well, the minutiae of genealogy...

And I take it that you have first hand experience? I thought not.
See, from the information I gather from the media, PA is not a place I would want to live. Now is that giving your state a fair shake? I don't think so.

As for Alaska, I love a state that allows me to live my life with minimal government interference. I am from the West and am part of the West. I believe in being self reliant. Alaska offers that. I know there are "incentives" to live there, but that wouldn't even be a factor as far as me living there.

I love Texas, born and raised there. In 2003 I moved to New Mexico because it was less expensive to live there, and I was nearing retirement. The state is really the land of enchantment. I still visit Texas in the fall and winter, but I love the seasons in the mountains of NM.
