Want a cocktail that's a little more subtle? Well, you can always spike your tea or cider -- err, isn't that what a hot toddy is? It's the perfect blend of a nightcap and a hot, soothing beverage all in one.

Today is day three of our 12 days of Christmas countdown. We hope you've been following along.

Let's be honest: sometimes we need a little nudge from our alcohol-infused friends to make certain parts of the holiday a bit more bearable (err, do we even have to mention nagging Aunt Nancy?).

Here are three of our absolute favorite holiday cocktails. They're pretty traditional but if you want to spice things up with your own drink-of-choice, you know what to do.

So grab a hot toddy and get comfy. There are tons of holiday drinks out there to explore.

Hey now it is just sweet tea and straight, strong , dark coffee! But there was a time when a good ol SIlver Bullet was the answer to all! 15 months of Sobriety , And it would have to be a cup of warm spiced apple cider!

Hot cinnamon tea with ''PRESIDENTE'' Mexican Brandy or "VIEJO VERGEL" Mexican Brandy .. Either goes very well with Egg Nog too try it you will like it ..
