Thanks. I've got two and one on the way this summer. I take care of dogs and I love them all, but these dogs are so good I don't know that I'd have any other.

Well, my favorite dog is my darling little mutt, mostly German Shepard with a little bit of Labrador and a few others thrown in. As for breeds, I like rottweilers.

All of the ones listed and all the dogs everywhere, whether purebred or mixed breeds, I love them all!
Would really like to have a giant mastiff! I know large dogs don't live as long, but I wish they could be bred with kindness and given bigger hearts, for one thing, to support their bodies. They are gentle giants and will be your best friend for life.

I've known some wonderful mastiffs (English, Neapolitan, Bull), and they were all sweet, loving dogs. I just don't think I could handle the short lives of them, losing a pet dog is an awful crushing blow emotionally to me. That's one of the things I like about the Chinese Crested, it is one of the longest lived dogs.

I've got a medium-sized mixed breed right now. My sweet dog Boo-Boo, part Rottweiller and part Chow, lived to be 12, which is a long time for bigger dogs, but he's gone to heaven now and it breaks my heart and I cry every time I think about him and my other dogs that are gone. Any time is too soon, but I'm glad to know that about the Chinese Crested! Thanks for the info!
