Sodahead and diet soda. I can go a whole day without both, but seldom do. I get really pissed off with myself if I'm controlled by something and will try to nip it in the bud. As the Buddha says, "Addiction is suffering."
"Detach" is his answer (easier taught than exercised :-). Ironically, I decided just last night to do just that. I decided to stop drinking diet sodas (my brother calls them "stupid juice" and I decided maybe THAT's why I'm getting dumber). As to sodahead, I had already tapered quite a bit. Soon I'll be unsuffering OR insufferable (likely the latter).
Well, Jitko, I for one definitely don't you're anywhere near 'stupid'. And far as I can tell you seem insufferably remarkable. -- I stopped drinking sodas and beers (I still drink on occasion socially) years ago. My health (I loss about 20 pounds) and energy level greatly improved. As far as my addiction to SHs, weeelll...I'm working on that, but it will be extremely difficult as long as I talk to nice people such as yourself. : )
What a sweetie! Glad to hear that sweetness isn't from the toxic HFCS in sodas!
I think sodahead, as connections, is healthy. But too often I find myself among polarized hatemongers and people who use the forum to parade prideful opinions. THAT I would not miss, but I'd miss you. :-)
j/k
