Part of working in Tinsel Town is frequently jet-setting all over the globe, and it seems like every day we're presented with pictures of celebrities at airports. Some of these celebrities have a very distinct airport style, like the always-runway-ready Victoria Beckham, while others look like they walked straight out of a J. Crew ad, a la Jennifer Aniston. And then there are those who opt for the sweatpants and hoodie "comfy" look, which is more my style. What about you, SodaHeads? What's your airport style?
Celebs usually hang out in the first class lounges -- something the average passenger knows nothing about. Some of the nicer lounges have changing rooms and shower facilities.
Unless you are flying first class, you might as well dress like cargo -- because to the airlines that's all you are.
It makes me look nice, but not over the top, but also comfortable, yet not any old scruffy clothes from the cupboard :)
lame
But no sweat pants or old t-shirts either.
I generally dress semi-formal, I like to look nice because I very often run into people I know at airports (I grew up traveling and around other people who traveled) so I like to make a good impression when I run into old classmates/teachers/friends etc. Also airports are a very nice place to meet people and having interesting conversations with interesting people.
I always take a hat with me too in case my hair goes out of control (Planes have that effect on my hair). A jacket if it gets chilly, a clean-nice looking shirt and some dress pants.
