Whats Wrong With My Dog?

My beautiful dog Romeo is in pain. Hes limping and everything. He couldn't even jump on the couch, I helped him up so he would be more comfortble and looked him over. I didn't see anything wrong on the outside so I left him alone. I went back nd triend to move him thinking he ould want ot go outside buthe yelp everythime I tried to move him. Mostly when I pressed on his left side.
Please help.

- flaca BN-0 2011/12/06 22:43:26 (edited)+1Is your dog elderly? If so, it could be arthritis. But if it's just one side he may have pulled a tendon, or even been bitten by a snake. Best go to the vet like maggiemay said. You can give a dog half a low-dose tylenol (not aspirin though) to ease the pain. If you have moccasins in your area you need to get it seen to. A lady here whose dog was bitten got infected and lost the flesh on that part of his leg. Sorry to be so doomsaying!reply
