First dates can be nerve-racking. And you only make them worse by wearing the wrong outfit. A blogger for howaboutwe.com grilled her guy friends about "first date fashion no-nos," and came up with a handy list of "don'ts" for ladies looking to score a second date.
According to the site, women should NOT wear:
According to the site, women should NOT wear:
--Anything too revealing. As in, "Short skirts, cleavage-bearing anything."
--Too much makeup. "You might think it looks OK, but guys don’t like to see your face caked in makeup," the site says.
--Uncomfortable-looking shoes. "Do a test before your date -- if you can’t walk normally in them, leave them at home," the site advises.
--A hat. Especially a cowboy hat.
--Anything too dressy. Unless you want him to think you're ready to walk down the aisle.
--UGGs. "This came up a few times," howaboutwe says.

--A huge purse. "They make you look high-maintainence which makes guys think you’re an expensive date blahblahblah, not fair but true," the site reports. What do you think is the biggest first date fashion no-no?

Second is too much make up and revealing clothes!
I love this pic for some reason.
I don't see why many carry those big bags anyway.. I've always carried small shoulder bags that are organized and have a few "evening bags", too. (I think the selection is a bit "out there" these days, but here are some simpler-looking purses).
For the guys, combovers are a bad idea, trying to hard to look cool when you are not. Nasty teeth and bad hygiene are mood killers on any date.
just screams out .. 'DESPERATE for 'Attention' in all the WRONG ways!'
I had a boyfriend who would say "Bring a little something to wear if it gets cold" and he always had something in his car in case - and was right. (That was one nice thing about him).
Hehe =D
Btw, your boyfriend was so great. He treated you so well =)
( but I saw you used "past tense" - hmm, probably both of you were over. cheers!)
I suppose different men like different things, but showing a body part more than what was is normally expected, can lead to headaches.
