First dates can be nerve-racking. And you only make them worse by wearing the wrong outfit. A blogger for howaboutwe.com grilled her guy friends about "first date fashion no-nos," and came up with a handy list of "don'ts" for ladies looking to score a second date.

--Too much makeup. "You might think it looks OK, but guys don’t like to see your face caked in makeup," the site says.
--Uncomfortable-looking shoes. "Do a test before your date -- if you can’t walk normally in them, leave them at home," the site advises.
--A hat. Especially a cowboy hat.
--Anything too dressy. Unless you want him to think you're ready to walk down the aisle.
