If you're a woman, you've probably debuted your summer swimsuit over the last couple of weeks. If you're a dude, you've probably checked out the babes on the beach. So ... what's the sexiest suit? A string bikini, a one-piece or something else altogether? Marie Clare asked 100 guys for their opinion -- here's what they had to say...

The Basic Bikini: The classic bikini was guys' favorite, with a 93 percent approval rating (several dudes said it most resembled a bra and panties).

The String Bikini: 74 percent of men liked the look, while 26 percent found it too revealing.

The One-Piece: Believe it or not, 65 percent of men liked this more covered up look, as long as it "doesn't look like the woman is trying out for the Olympic swim team."

The Bandeau Top: 89 percent of men liked the strapless look. The best part? No tan lines (at least not where anyone can see them).

The Monokini: Celebs and models like this daring cutout style, but 78 percent of guys hate it, according to Marie Claire. What kind of suit do you prefer?

I really depends on the woman wearing the suit. How their body is shaped and how she carries herself. but no chic looks good in a saggy/baggy suit. what ever suit they wear needs to caress her body and be high and tight.

But I also like classic one-piece bandeaus (somewhat like Marilyn Monroe's white swimsuit) because whatever your body shape, it clings to the body and looks GOOD! If you have a curvy hourglass shape, it will make your waist look tinier than it is. If you have a tomboyish body, it will accentuate your cute, pixie-like, innocent frame. If you are more rubenesque, this covers "problem areas" like the tummy and accentuates the chest. It is AMAZING. I'm in love with it hahaha... It is so utterly classy and sophisticated yet feminine at the same time...

It's more flattering for the figure of most women, assuming the cut is right. No real worry about things falling out, straps coming untied, and because some women might have a modicum of decency and not want every one and their mother to pretty much know what they look like naked. Though bathroom breaks would be easier in a two piece. Ah~ What a pickle~

Whatever suits her body best! Which is different for everyone. If someone is a little heavier or has large breasts, you know, a bandeau might not be the way to go...gotta have support. For me personally, the string bikini is great because I'm slim but I don't have a huge rack so the strings pulling up around my neck lift my boobs up a bit and make them look nicer, in my opinion. I love monokinis but I've never tried one on so Idk if it looks good.
