What's the cheapest pair of shoes you own?

Just saw a question on "What is the most expensive pair you own?" and the OP answered $28,000 >.>

This inspired me to ask the opposite question. Cotton On does 2 pairs of flats for $10. At one point I had all the different colours :)

There are people in Africa that don't own a pair of shoes. So, so self involved, this question.

Flip flops. Most expensive footwear I own is a pair of boots I bought at Gucci about 7 years ago.

You feet are the foundation of your body, you are doing a dis-service to yourself by buying shoes that are not built to be stable or functional to support your foot or your weight. Never buy cheap shoes, your feet will never forgive you.

How are flats bad? We are designed to walk with bare feet. Flats are just a layer between your foot and the ground.

They are only bad if they have no structure or support in them to hold your feet. With no arch support they left your feel fall flat on the ground and stress the muscles on the bottom of your feel.

Good shoes prevent corns, calluses, blisters and fallen arches and fatigue.

Bad shoes can cause back pain, leg and foot pain and leg pain.

I got a pair of Quicksilver flip flops at Marshall's for $8. They're pretty cool looking, but I wouldn't wear them if I had to walk more than a mile.

I'm not sure exactly how much they cost, but probably a plain white pair of flip flops I got at Old Navy. They were no more than 10 bucks, I'm sure. I actually love fashion. My wardrobe is out of control. I am a really good dresser, and have a very good sense of what pieces are cute, or what goes together well. BUT, I just cannot get used to fashionable, uncomfortable shoes. High heels and the like are very bad for your spine, and they hurt a woman's feet something awful. I do have heels and fashionable shoes, but I most certainly prefer my cheap pair of flip flops.

Heels are good to get your legs toned and a substitute for doing kegel exercises ;) If you find a good pair of heels (not necessarily expensive, just well made) that fits you, they won't hurt your feet. I have a few pairs that don't hurt my feet.

Those are cute. The cheapest shoes I have are hotel slippers:-) But for shoes I actually paid for $3 flipflops. I'm going to check out these flats.

I don't have cheap shoes and the cheapest footwear I own is probably a pair of slippers that I very rarely wear as I like going around in my bear feet when at home.
