What would you rate your state on a scale from 1-10?

Just for the scenery.

My state can be considered the Bible Belt of the north -_-

I hate the south, the only good about my state is that we have Atlanta!!! I plan on moving up morth to Chicago after Law School!!!

Actually with Democrats completely in control of our major cities, State houe and state government...we are one of the highest in debt and unemployment. A great plus for OBUMMER. California is probably close to last in most conventional polls.

For the joy of living where the weather (except for wind) is perfect and the landscapes beathtaking I have to give a 10

But I also lived in Fla for most of my life that state is in the negatives. lol

I live in Cullman, Alabama. There are no words to describe how much I hate it. Right now I'm staying in Mississippi, which is a solid 25.

Georgia's most definately 8 material. The only thing that keeps it from being a perfect 10 is the unpredictable weather and the crime rate.

The weather is a lot better then Oregon.

I doubt that.. but what's the weather like in Oregon? because over here in GA, we're setting heat records.

It rains too much, it was raining last week but today, it got up to 92 degrees and it's supposed to be in the mid to upper 80s all week so I'm happy about that. I love hot weather though. We get rain about 9 months a year though and it sucks.

Our average daily temperatures haven't been below 100 degrees in about a week and a half. It rains about once or twice a week. I'd be happy to have 92 degree weather, although, i don't really it would really feel all that different. It's pretty humid here, so i think that makes it worse.. :/

And i know this sounds cliched, but i thought it rained really often in Oregon, and usually has an overcast :P lol

It's a little humid here but it's supposed to be 87 degrees today. I like it though, we are getting nice weather now and it's awesome. It beats the rain and it rains about 9 months a year if we are lucky. I hate overcast, I love beautiful weather.

When I'm older, maybe but I won't be 18 for another 21 months and I won't graduate high school for another 23 months. I would rather live in California though. Just all of my friends are up here so I might stay.

never been to Cali before, but I'd like to go. Personally, I prefer my state over any of the others. there's something about the southern hospitality that's here in Georgia.

You haven't been to all of the states though. California is better then Oregon but Oregon is still pretty. I've never been to Georgia.

By "any of the others" i meant of the ones i've been to. I want to go to Oregon too. there are plenty of places, in fact, that I'd like to visit. But I don't really see myself moving.. maybe one day, if i find a better state

I've found out if I ever wanted to move from GA, I'd move to Anderson, SC. Simply because it's a nice little city full of nice people and lower prices :P lol

I'm in San Diego and there is a likely possiblility that we will add a Democarat to the mayors seat. Filner is one of the most radical of our politicans. The state is is dire need of help and we can'r get any from Obummer who is bankrupting the nation.

There are other places I'd rather live, but this is okay for now.

I'm from New York City born and raised. I have to say you love NYC but at the same time you hate it. It's a 24/7 place, you want something and normally you can walk a short distance unless you're in some weird desolate places like in Brooklyn or Queens. Plenty to do here. The bad - there's so many people and so much traffic. Very dirty city.I wish they were a lot stricter here on littering and noise from car radios for example. The money and cops aren't distributed fairly depending on the neighborhoods. Obviously places like Tribeca and Times Square get a lot more. Our mayor Bloomberg is a douche who brought a 3rd term and represents what's wrong with America as far as greedy people getting their way and doing what they want to do. The rent is too damn high, the MTA/tolls are too high, everything goes up in price but the wages stay the same for the working class or hardly move up at all. Too much loitering for the slackers who stand around in the other parts of NY. Open fire hydrants in the Summer which sometimes leads to having no water at all in your apartment. The city is very badly managed in my opinion. With all the times the MTA's raised fares every subway station should be air conditioned in the Summer. At least the underground stations. Hard to learn to ride a bike or do something like paintball here. It is a fast paced city so the people even myself kind of just become fast paced.

My son and family were in NYC for 10 years and we loved visiting and they loved living there but once the children started schools and the need for more living space crucial they had to leave. Too expensive for everything,even for 2 doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering.

I'd give Arizona an 8. The winters are great, the summers a little too toasty for me. And, we have waaaay too many illegals. Overall, though, not bad. I've lived in 5 other states, traveled to many others, and this is pretty good.

We have way to many Illegals here because of the agriculture . Thing is they work the orchards and stuff under the table and draw welfare with fake stolen social security cards. It's easier for them to get help in this state than it is for AMERICAN CITIZENS. Makes me sick.

They are moving to Calif because there are several sanctuary cities and they get everything for free.

+ amazing universities, beautiful mountains, interesting people

I'd probably rate my home state (NC) lower if I didn't live in a semi-progressive area.

I live in Louisiana. I like it alot, the weather, the food, the Cajun-French culture, the haunted houses, etc.. But, that's because I live in the city, and in a great one at that. But thank goodness I don't like in the rural areas. I don't believe in stereotypes, but in the country, and ONLY in the country areas, is that stereotype true. Another thing is the people here can be prejudice. When there's an interracial couple around, they get stared at, hard. Especially black & white couples. And also our governor isn't producing like everyone thought he would be. But still, I like Louisiana :D
