- Margaret Jacobson 2012/10/05 02:44:36YesDepends on the age and situation , some personalities can do it !! My father was my BESTEST friend . Before the Ge of 10 years I understood the basic idea of a checking account , spending and saving money . I understood in principal that if I work for something it is mine !!! When you grow up you should be able to decide what you want to do in life ! he gave me advice that lasted a lifetime !!! My mother was the type to be unresponsive and needed constant care !! When I was a child she was a child. When I grew up she was still a child !!reply
