My girlfriend has been saying all day that she shaved her head. And I still partially do not believe her. I haven't seen her yet today... So I have no idea how to react to it.
What would you do if your significant other shaved their head? I realize that for men, this probably wouldn't be a big deal. But for women it is...

Well my boyfriends hair is longer than mine (about the middle of his back) I would be shocked if he shaved his head. I would still love him and think hes sexy but it would take some getting used to.

I'd still love her. Her exterior beauty will eventually fade. The interior beauty means far more to me than her exterior beauty does. Shaving her head only modifies the exterior beauty. She's still the same girl I've fallen madly in love with on the inside.

i ain't a big fan of the bald look. my x boyfriend, after i broke up with him he had a fit and shaved off all his dreds, lol. and for a guy i was with when i was 18 he liked shaved heads and i like long hair on guys so i hid his razors, lol. i was mad when he found them and shaved his head again. i'm glad i ain't with that ass hole any more. lol.

I love short hair on women, but... perhaps not quite *that* short...

EDIT: I have to say though... Natalie Portman looks rather delicious like that :-)

My son recently shaved his head. He had really thick, long hair, and though I have wanted him to cut it shorter than he has it, it is a shock to see his shaved head.

Hair grows, though. A year from now, a shaved head will have lots and lots of hair.

I would be a little shocked if he really did shave his head completely, but I'd accept it as it was his choice, it's something he wanted to do and if he's comfortable with it then by all means rock the new look.

Wouldn't bother me at all. It's hair and it will grow back. My husband lost his beard during radiation and is loosing his hair to Chemo.He is still the man I fell in love with 25 years ago. I've thought about shaving my head to, because the weather is hot.

I would also have my head shaved so that they would know it is okay.....and i would enter in the walkathon for susan g komen for cancer research here in fort worth texas!
