Throughout history, empires came into being and disappeared, and the world went on - with more or less disorders.
but if, then world would help America & life would go on

it will be interesting......
China probably will become the biggest economic power, I believe China would abandon the last ideals of it's 'communist party" and move on to capitalism, the reason I believe this is because I've lived in China, and it really ain't Communist at all. It has a capitalist culture by nature, though some government officials hold very authoritarian views which is why you get some ridiculous laws, I believe those views would start to die with the next generation too as the younger generation of China is quite frustrated with the "old ways" of the government.
More pressure would be put on China to improve human rights and become more modern with the influence of the European Union, since a lot of business will take place between them. China would have the biggest military so they might try to threaten Europe with that, but honestly, I don't think even China would want to risk a world war with one of the biggest economic markets in the world either because there wouldn't be any benefit for them apart from "showing off".
I'm not sure who would take over the land of America, I have a feeling Canada would want to snatch some Northern states, some European nations would gather some states of the coast, and I guess there'd be some disagreements over that.
China, off course, has it's own problems (e.g. too many people, not enough food, uneven boy/girl birth rates across the county, rapidly aging population, unbelievably high superficial housing costs in the cities, government owning the land, horrible pollution, etc.), but despite all that, it's sitting on an accrued monetary surplus bigger than any nation in the world, and exports somewhat more than it imports (lots of food, off course).
Hopefully, the wealth will eventually trickle down to China's general population and raise their standard of living. I would look to Japan and Germany as well in terms of taking over the leading spot.
You're right, China won't threaten the EU. I don't think they're that dumb. That might happen, in my humble opinion, only if something extremely radical happens in China again, and they get a new "iconic" leader in absolute control. Otherwise, their strategy is to beat everyone economically, and so far, they are winning.
