I left a pot-empty of rice, on lit burner.....that burned a long with a wooden spoon I left in there....

I was making a cake for my mother and I mixed up what container was the salt and the sugar. Geez, everyone was spiting and grabbing water I was sad until I ate it then I understood

I boiled Pasta at a temperature too high and when I checked on it it was liquid lol

Was boiling water for pasta, put it in, and then went to play Star Wars (Forces Unleashed), forgot bout it...burned to a crisp and caught on fire :P

Not mine but my husbands. While I was shopping one day he decided to dry some herbs in the microwave. As I came in from the store the microwave was burning and blazing. He just put to the highest level and went outside and forgot about it. And he was a fireman.

I mixed a bag of thin fries and thick 'steak-house' ones and cooked them according to the instructions on the thick fry bag. Ended up with tasty fries and burnt potato sticks.
