Preposition, adverbs, adjectives, passive... jeesh, to this day I still cringe when I look at an English class book! I love to read and enjoy writing, but I'm just not into all the prim and proper; so boring.. to me at least. :)

Good comment, but when you look at some of the other comments, the English is PRIT-TEE poor. And to me, communication is PRIT-TEE important.

Lunch used to be a pain in the ass. The food that was served was garbage. Some of the people in my school were morons. I used to brown bag it every day. One girl there used to call me The Vegetarian, even though I loved tenderloin and prime rib, but not hamburger or hamburger helper or any of the crap they served. You failed to mention my least favorite SUBJECT on your list, and that was SHOP. Mr. Roberts gave me a 'D' in woodworking, and the reason he gave me a 'D' was because he liked me. He just made me promise to him that I would never work as a carpenter. I told him, "That's fine by me, Mr. Roberts. When I need a deck on my house I'm calling you.

It was a tie between everything but Science and History. In the end, the feelings generated from my advanced skills in math despite my enormous dislike for it trumped those I felt for English, and I didn't have to take P.E later on due to health conditions, so I'd have to give it to math.

not that i was bad at it or anything (well i was crappy at plane geometry but i excelled at algebra). it was just that it was boring sitting in math class, especially lunch channel. THOSE were the long channels so long math class meant long boredom. lolziez

I'll go along with that line of thought, and to amplify a bit I found that rote memory skills, such as memorizing the opening paragraph of a so-called great novel, were skills that were beneath me. I would rather write a novel, and I did when I was in high school. Memorizing the Gettysburg Address was total nonsense.

Just a thought. How many folks who can recite the preamble, etc, actually derive what it means?

After going through the living Hell that is Pre-AP Precalculus, I don't think much else could top it for worst class. However, I'm gonna vote History on this one. While an interesting subject at times, listening to a teacher talk nearly non-stop for 48 minutes (even if you love that teacher) can get downright boring.

English lit especially. It left too much up to ambiguity. If you did not interpret the piece of literature the same as the teacher you were wrong. I prefer the hard sciences. If the answer is 5.3 it's 5.3 and not left up to the teacher's interpretation.

There was only two out of four that I thought taught it at all. Then out of those two, one teacher had us take a lot of notes, it was fine but we were falling behind other classes.

Math... algebra and pre-calculus... but I think that it was primarily because I sucked at it because the teachers I had didn't explain it well. Later I took it in college and loved it because I had an awesome professor. Teachers can really make the difference. ,y hatred of math doesn't include Statistics... Stat was awesome!!!

No HomeEc? Oh my... I kid you not, my HomeEc teacher taught my grandmother. I was a really good student but I hated that class so much I managed to get myself kicked out of it. The witch could not understand why I could not thread a needle. No one knew I was far-sighted. I hated her. She made me use Ivory Soap dish detergent flakes and I was so allergic I would get hives all over me. Loathing that woman was too nice a description.

Here's how I thread a needle. I delegate that task to someone who has a lot better manual dexterity than me. And as for cleaning I delegate that to my cleaning company. Home ec= pay someone to work for you.

I LOVE those options. Unfortunately, most people are too afraid of my dogs to come clean for me. LOL! They'd only harm someone if commanded or if they perceived a thread to me, for instance, but people coming into our home don't know that. Heh.

(Oh, and I still cannot see to thread a needle - and can't get contacts in anymore because I need them into be able to see to put them in. LMAO!)
