Nothing is as clear cut as math when it comes to earning your grade. Either you got it right or you didn't.

Unlike English. In English, you can fail a paper if you have a bad teacher that will look for ways to dock you points if he/she didn't like the message of your paper. This was the bane of my sophomore year of high school English class.

Although I ended up an English major (and now teach it in colleges), I was blessed with some particularly interesting history teachers while in high school, and even many of the other instructors I had (English, Latin, math) understood the importance of the field and put it into perspective with their classes. In fact, I've always said that history isn't boring; only history teachers can be.

I believe in Darwin's theory of evolution. I think the history classes need to be reformed so they can teach real history instead of the false history that the liberals push down our throats.

I wasen't ever very accademically inclined nor motivated from Kindergarten through
my senior year in high school, and although I did graduate and went on to earn an
associate in science degree from my local two year college, I still didn't really get down
to the nitty gritty, apply myself and try as hard as I should have. I most definately regret
it. Nowdays, especially with the economy and job situation in it's present state, I really
have to struggle to stay afloat. A good education can frequently mean the difference between living in reasonable confort or barely hanging on. It can mean the difference
between retirement at a decient and civilized age or having to work for the rest of your
natural life....age and health issues or not. In some extreme cases, a good education
can even save your life....both figiuritevely and litterally.

Hmmm... a little surprised this choice is leading the poll. I enjoyed reading, so English was a breeze. I was involved with the school newspaper, so the writing part worked well too.

Actually, I liked Geography, French was good, as was Math & Science. I hated English, but that really was because I hated liturature, especially poetry. Could never see the use of it, unless it was a 'dirty ditty'...

I love English because I love to read, its also fairly easy and its really fun. If I had to pick three classes on this, it would be English, History (I hope I get a better teacher though) and Art class. My real favorite would be Art class, then English, then History.
